When do the controls come out?

Removal waits on the ground, not the calendar. Final stabilization under TXR150000 is a construction site status where any of the permit's listed conditions is met — the general condition being uniform perennial vegetative cover of at least 70 percent of native background density on unpaved areas, or equivalent permanent stabilization measures.

Until the site clears one of those bars, the controls are still on duty — and pulling them early trades a tidy photo for an exposed slope.

What removal includes

Terradyne's removal lineup pairs a skid-steer crew for pulling silt fence with a dump truck and driver for haul-off, and a crew line for landfill disposal. The fence comes out of the trench, the posts come up, the accumulated sediment goes where it should, and the truck leaves loaded — a demobilization, not an abandonment. What stays behind is a stabilized site with no orphaned hardware for the landscaper to mow around.

Removal is its own scope

Unless a maintenance line is sold, Terradyne's install prices cover installation only — repairs, cleaning, and removal are separate maintenance work. That is worth knowing at bid time, because removal budgeted on day one never turns into the argument nobody wants at closeout — about whose crew, whose trailer, and whose landfill ticket. Phased sites retire controls in phases

Demobilization is not always one big day. On phased work, controls come out area by area as each area earns it — the fence guarding finished, stabilized ground retires while the fence guarding open ground stays on duty. The record should tell that story cleanly: which area closed, when, and what evidence stood behind the call. A removal crew that understands the phasing is protection against the tidy-minded mistake of pulling a whole perimeter because half a site finished.
